Our story
39 Years of Brotherhood on the Fairway
Since its founding, the Edmonton Senior Oilmen's Golf Tournament has been a celebration of the people who built Alberta's energy industry — a place where professionals from exploration to service come together, compete, and renew friendships forged over decades.
About the Tournament
The Edmonton Senior Oilmen's Golf Tournament was established to give veterans of Alberta's oil and gas sector a venue to connect outside of the boardroom. Over nearly four decades, it has grown into one of Edmonton's most anticipated industry events — attracting active professionals, semi-retired executives, and retired legends of the patch.
Held annually at Millwoods Golf Course, the tournament features competitive match play across multiple flights, a Super Senior flight for golfers aged 60 and over, a mid-tournament social afternoon, and a wind-up BBQ with trophy and prize presentation. Spouses are always welcome at the social events.
Eligibility is open to anyone who has made or is making their livelihood in the oil and gas industry, aged 50 or older — whether active, semi-retired, or retired.
